Meet the Team

Hitiura Anihia, Ph.D., LMFT-Associate

Hiti is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist associate who received her Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling at Michigan State as well as a Doctorate in Couple, Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Tech University.

Hiti enjoys working with couples who struggle with a wide range of issues including conflict, communication and infidelity. She also enjoys helping teens, adults and families with issues such as anxiety, substance use disorders, life transitions, and family conflict.

Hiti has seven years of teaching experience at Texas Tech University and Michigan State University. She has also worked as a therapist in mental health clinics within hospital settings. Hiti has also traveled widely across the United States and internationally to present research.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her husband of seven years.
